Description
At last there is a specific hand crimping tool for crimping the terminals used on a lot of common engine management systems and dashes with M22759/32 wire.
- Supports all three terminal sizes - small, medium and large
- Crimps 24AWG to 16AWG wire – refer to the table below
- Exclusive design – developed by Racespec in the US. Not available through the general channel
- Designed for use with M22759/32 wire only (the type of wire sold for years by MSEL)
- Not recommended for use on /16 or other wire types
- Fully tested as can be seen from the test results below. No more double crimping.

NOTE A
22AWG should be used with the 3-1447221-5 'Small' terminal whenever possible though asnoted by the test data it may be used with the 3-1447221-4 'Medium' terminal with passable results.
NOTE B
18AWG should be used with the 3-1447221-3 'Large' terminal whenever possible though as noted by the test data it may be used with the 3-1447211-4 'Medium' terminal with passable results. This combination in particular has the potential to deform the contact and is strongly advised against.
Price includes both crimp frame and die.
While Rennsteig has a shelf part for the AMP Superseal 1.0 terminal available, it is only suited for 16-20AWG and the insulation support nest was originally designed to be used with automotive grade wire's thicker jacket resulting in a less than ideal finished termination.
